Terms of Service

Plain terms for a small product. Nothing here is written to be missed.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Who you are buying from

Telegram Downloader is made by Andrea Marengo, operating as Arven, in Italy. Contact: arven@buildwitharven.com. The sale itself goes through Creem, acting as Merchant of Record: your purchase contract, your invoice and your VAT are theirs, and their terms govern the transaction. These terms cover the software and the licence you get to use it.

What you are buying

A licence to use Telegram Downloader on Windows 10 or 11. Demo costs nothing, needs no key and has downloads switched off — it exists so you can see the app before paying. Lite is 9,99 € and downloads up to 300 files at a time, on one Telegram account. Pro is 19,90 €, with no download limit and several accounts. The Lite to Pro upgrade is 10 € and issues a Pro key you redeem inside the app. All of these are one-off payments: there is no subscription and nothing renews.

How you may use it

The licence is personal and non-transferable, and works on one device at a time. Changing computer is fine: deactivate it in the app first, then activate it on the new one. You may not resell, rent out or redistribute the key, and you may not decompile the app or work around the licence check. Doing any of that voids the licence without a refund.

What you need for it to work

You create your own api_id and api_hash on my.telegram.org, with your own Telegram account. It is the most awkward step of the whole thing, and it is said openly on the product page, because finding out after paying would feel like a trick. Without those credentials the app cannot connect, and I cannot create them for you.

What you are responsible for

You may only download content you have the right to save. Respecting Telegram's terms and the copyright of whatever you download is your responsibility. The app reaches only the chats your account can already open — it does not break into anything — but what you do with what comes out is on you, not on me.

Delivery

The key is sent by email within a few minutes of payment, to the address used at checkout. It arrives from arven@buildwitharven.com, separately from Creem's receipt. If nothing has arrived after ten minutes, check spam and then write to me: I resend it by hand, and I answer within one working day.

Prices, tax and refunds

Prices shown on the site include VAT. Creem calculates and pays the tax and issues your invoice. Refunds: if the app does not work as described and I cannot fix it for you, you get your money back within 14 days of purchase — write to me and tell me what happens. The free Demo exists precisely so you can check the app runs on your machine before paying anything. Nothing here removes the rights EU consumer law gives you, including the right of withdrawal where it applies.

The app is not digitally signed

There is no code signing certificate behind this build, and Windows may warn you that the publisher is unrecognised. That is stated openly on the download page, together with the SHA-256 checksums so you can verify that the file you downloaded is the one I published. A signature would prove who made the file; a checksum proves it has not been altered. It is a partial substitute and it is described as one.

What I promise, what I don't, and which law applies

The software is provided as it is. It depends on Telegram's API, which is not mine: if Telegram changes it, something may stop working, and I will fix what I can. I do not promise it fits a particular purpose of yours, and my liability is limited to what you paid — except where the law does not allow that limit, which includes damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and death or personal injury. Italian law applies, without removing the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in. Changes to these terms are published on this page with a new date, and do not apply retroactively to a licence you have already bought.

This page exists in six languages. Where a translation and the English version disagree, the English version is the one that counts.
